Sheds Apex and Pent

The A&J range of buildings comprises a variety of sheds in popular sizes. Please contact us for details. We have a display of a dozen A&J sheds over at Scotsdales (and just two sheds at our Witcham factory site - 6ft x 4ft Pent and 8ft x 6ft Apex, both with Classic windows). 

Specifications for this building

• Pent and Apex design with a 2ft 6in wide door and a row of windows (plain, with an opening vent, or Georgian fixed, or security fixed, or no windows).
• Quality 12mm thick redwood tongue and groove shiplap boarding in walls.
• 15mm redwood tongue and groove boarding in roof and floor (V313 Caberboard in buildings once they reach 8ft in both directions).
• Wall framework is 47mm x 47m & 47mm x 22mm finished thickness. Eaves height of 6ft (1.82m) rising to below 2.5m on Apex sheds and low wall internal height of 6ft (1.82m) on Pent sheds, rising to the high side 2.06m (81in) which is below 2.5m planning limit.
• Solvent-based pale brown wood treatment inside and out which helps to protect the timber from moisture, fungi etc. We recommend the buildings are re-treated within 3 months for best protection of the timber, then annually, unless a different finish is applied.
• Heavy duty polyester based mineral felt on roof & ventilation gap at back of roof.
• 2ft 6in (0.76m) wide door with Mortice lock and key.                                                               • Choice of door and window positions.

Delivery & Installation

Our prices include delivery and assembly within a 60 mile radius of Cambridge (other areas priced on request) - please call us for a price. Base work is priced on request locally for a suitable paving slab or concrete base made to the correct dimensions and specifications. A&J also offer pressure treated timber base platforms.
